Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or proven track record in fundraising, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior development role, preferably in the nonprofit sector

Job Responsibility

Directly steward a portfolio of top-tier major donors, alongside managing and mentoring the major donor team, ensuring personal engagement with the ministry’s most significant supporters
Provide strategic leadership for all donor engagement and fundraising activities within the department, setting measurable objectives, monitoring performance, and making course corrections to ensure achievement of goals
Develop and approve departmental donor engagement strategies in collaboration with team managers, ensuring alignment with the CDO’s overarching development plan
Develop and manage the Donor Engagement department’s annual budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet fundraising goals
Direct, oversee and collaborate with Marketing/Communications to coordinate creation of publications to support development needs, fundraising activities, and ensure consistent, meaningful touchpoints throughout the donor journey
Provide guidance and direction to the FCBH KL office in the areas of donor development and donor communications
Implement fundraising plans for individual giving, recurring gifts, events, and various opportunities to increase awareness of the ministry vision and mission, acquire new donors, further engagement and raise funds
Set strategy, direct and oversee coordination for fundraising events

Donor Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of 150 prospects/donors, creating and implementing individualized cultivation and solicitation plans. Conduct in-depth prospect research to identify and prioritize donors and potential donors. Solicitation Success: This includes achieving specific financial targets within a designated timeframe. Demonstrate success in soliciting major gifts from prospects in their portfolio
