Requirements:
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or a related field, including proposal development and engaging institutional funders
Intellectual curiosity and an interest in science, with the ability to engage meaningfully with complex scientific concepts and communicate effectively with faculty, technical experts, and diverse audiences
Demonstrated track record of securing philanthropic investments, particularly at the major gift level, including experience with institutional funders such as foundations or corporate partners
Experience managing a portfolio and advancing prospects through all stages of the donor lifecycle
Ability to develop and implement multi-year cultivation and solicitation strategies grounded in relationship-building
Experience partnering with academic, research, or programmatic leaders to develop funding strategies and proposals
Experience managing or mentoring staff, volunteers, or cross-functional teams in a complex organizational environment
