Job Description:

Now Hiring: Director of Design. Recruiting on behalf of our client — a leading signage specialist designing, manufacturing, and installing architectural signage and national program rollouts across the USA. Are you a creative, detail-driven leader with extensive signage industry experience? Our client is seeking a Director of Design to lead their design & engineering team, elevate national branding standards, and manage production-ready deliverables. If you enjoy blending creativity with technical expertise, this is an exciting opportunity to make a nationwide impact.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, develop, and manage the design & engineering team
Create and maintain branding/signage standards for national chains
Oversee creation and management of production-ready files
Collaborate closely with management, production, and marketing teams
Support consistency, efficiency, and quality across all design outputs

Requirements:

Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive
Minimum 5 years in the signage industry
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, engineering, and sign manufacturing
Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration skills
Proficiency in CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
Mechanical & structural understanding of signage materials, lighting, manufacturing, and installation
Ability to design with cost-efficiency in mind to help clients reduce expenses
