Job Description

The Director of Demand, Supply & Inventory Planning will lead the end-to-end planning function, ensuring alignment across demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management. This role is responsible for establishing and driving a best-in-class Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, enabling cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, product, finance, and supply chain teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, leadership capability, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the demand forecasting process across product categories and sales channels
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop accurate, consensus-driven forecasts
  • Monitor demand trends, risks, and opportunities, adjusting plans as needed
  • Design, implement, and lead a structured monthly S&OP process
  • Facilitate alignment across demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans
  • Lead executive S&OP meetings, clearly communicating risks and opportunities
  • Establish KPIs and governance to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Significant experience within the consumer goods industry (CPG), with a strong understanding of retail, e-commerce, and omni-channel demand dynamics
  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP leadership
  • Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and supply chain dynamics
  • Proven experience leading S&OP processes in a cross-functional environment
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence and drive alignment
