This is a rare opportunity to lead and scale a demand generation function at a high-growth, globally operating B2B fintech. Sokin is expanding fast across the UK, North America, MEA, ANZ, and Europe, and we need a senior leader who can build on an existing performance marketing foundation, extend the function across lifecycle and other key channels, and grow a centralised team that serves our regional marketing leads around the world. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the Director of Demand Generation will own the strategy, the channel mix, the team, and the commercial outcomes across the full customer journey, from initial awareness through to conversion, and beyond that into retention, cross-sell, and upsell. Working closely with the Customer Relationship Manager, the role provides the demand generation and campaign execution capability that supports the entire revenue lifecycle, not just new business acquisition. You will inherit one direct report and build the team from there as the business scales. This is a function leadership role for someone who wants to build something significant, with the mandate and the support to do it.
Job Responsibility
Lead and scale Sokin's global demand generation function
Own performance marketing strategy and execution across channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic and retargeting
Establish and optimise lifecycle marketing programmes that support prospects and customers throughout their journey
Build and develop a high-performing team, creating the capabilities needed to support future growth
Partner with regional marketing leads to provide frameworks, execution support and best practice across international markets
Support customer retention, cross-sell and upsell initiatives through targeted campaigns and marketing automation
Own pipeline reporting, attribution and performance insights, translating data into action
Drive ongoing conversion rate optimisation across campaigns, landing pages and lead journeys
Requirements
Significant experience leading B2B demand generation functions within high-growth organisations
A proven track record of building and scaling teams, processes and capabilities
Expertise across paid media, demand generation and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM or similar
Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning pipeline and revenue metrics
Experience supporting multiple markets through a centralised operating model
The ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align teams behind shared goals
A hands-on approach and willingness to move between strategic thinking and execution when required
The resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where speed matters
