We are looking for a passionate Director of Conference Services who strives for excellence in a fast-paced work environment. This position reports to our Senior Commercial Director.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinates all requirements for various conference groups booked by the Sales Department
Responsible for enforcing the terms of sales letter of agreement and guiding meeting planners through the planning process
Communicates the needs and expectations of the client with all departments in the hotel
Ensures successful execution of group and client satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree / CMP Certification preferred
Three years or more experience in Conferences Services and experience managing managers
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Good organizational skill
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask
High level of creativity
Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends, and evenings
Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and Internet technology – helpful
Problem solving, leadership skills and customer service
