The Director of Compensation plays a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of Baptist Health’s compensation programs. This leader is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and communication of system-wide compensation strategies that support organizational goals and drive a high-performance culture. This role ensures all compensation programs are compliant with federal and state regulations, while developing and maintaining policies and procedures that reinforce compliance and operational excellence. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver streamlined, market-competitive, and cost-effective compensation programs. As a key member of the Total Rewards leadership team, this position reports directly to the Vice President of Total Rewards. We are seeking a hands-on, high-energy leader, a true go-getter who is ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in, while also serving as a mentor and developer of talent, building and guiding a high-performing compensation team.
Job Responsibility:
Design, implementation, administration, and communication of system-wide compensation strategies

Requirements:
7+ years of compensation experience required
3–5 years of leadership/management experience required
3-5 years of healthcare industry experience required
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
Nice to have:
Master’s degree (MA/MS) preferred
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
