Job Description:

As the Director of Compensation Delivery and Offers, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for successfully delivering Atlassian's compensation programs. This includes responsibility for executing all of our incoming and ongoing employee compensation programs, among them our compensation planning cycles, the annual bonus payout, and new-hire offers. This role will work with a cross-functional team of global compensation team members and various People Team centers of excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of other Compensation professionals
  • Work with other leaders across the compensation team to set the overall team strategy and OKRs, as well as and people priorities
  • Oversee execution of the global company-wide salary/promotion/equity/offer programs, partnering with a large number of stakeholders including Talent Acquisition, HR business partners, legal, payroll, HRIS and HRIT
  • Continuously assess our compensation programs for effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement in supporting our business goals
  • Influence data engineering teams to expand the Comp Team’s access to high quality and structured data table resources (e.g., SQL databases)
  • Identify, gather, and monitor key operational success metrics across our programs
  • Coach and develop rising compensation talent to support the continued evolution of our team and progress
  • Keep up to date and educate internal teams on evolving compensation related regulatory/compliance areas in the US and globally
  • Provide analytical support as needed, and be able to effectively guide others in presenting and synthesizing data to support recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of compensation or related experience
  • Extensive previous experience leading successful global compensation program delivery and transformation
  • Experience leading global compensation projects
  • Excellent strategic analytical capabilities, experience with big data and interfacing between HRIS applications, and an excellent ability to communicate persuasively with business partners to resolve highly complex problems
  • Experience leading high-level individual contributors and leaders across multiple functions, and track record of influencing at the senior leadership level
