Job Description

AI Transformation Office (AITO) is focused on taking Microsoft’s own AI transformation narrative to Enterprise customers to help accelerate their transformation journeys and drive meaningful pipeline impact. AITO leads the adoption of Microsoft’s AI technologies and solutions across the commercial organization. A core part of this work includes establishing a strong feedback loop, continuing to build and champion our Customer Zero storytelling, and partnering closely with the Global Skilling team to ensure these insights are translated into scalable enablement across the field. As a Director of Business Programs in the AI Transformation Office you will be focused on programmatically driving the acceleration of AI adoption and value realization across our sales community. The role will blend strategic alignment, stakeholder management, and tactical program planning and execution together in a way which delivers focused, efficient, and intentional pathways for AI adoption. Working as part of a cross-functional squad you will help identify, align and deliver critical path activities, including the management of risks, issues, and opportunities within the AI Accelerator program. Your diverse skillset and strong leadership abilities will allow you to effectively influence and lead in a dynamic and ever-evolving space. This opportunity will allow you to be on the front line of enterprise AI adoption, deepening your knowledge and experience as we journey from AI ambitions to AI outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • AI Accelerator Program Management: Be part of a cross-functional team to adapt and scale highly complex programs from initiation to delivery.
  • Lead the definition and tracking of success criteria and performance metrics.
  • Partner with senior sales leaders to ensure program issues, concerns, and priorities are well understood and to shape, align, and execute AI Accelerator delivery roadmaps.
  • Share best practices to define and execute on a program delivery plan, leading the rhythm of business during execution.
  • Share expertise to promote the program and gain buy-in from stakeholders, partners, and internal customers.
  • Lead a portfolio of projects, communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders, and hold them accountable to following the schedule.
  • Lead cross-team collaboration to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.
  • AITO Operations Leadership: Independently frame problems, define success metrics, and drive execution with limited direction.
  • Drive connection, alignment, and best practices within the AI Transformation Office to ensure we are operating efficiently while continuously improving.
  • Develop and deploy key operational elements eg Bowler charts, capacity management framework to meet the evolving needs of the team.
  • Work across MSFT to identify and adapt best practices, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience delivering AI adoption across Enterprise Businesses.
  • Experience partnering with Senior Leaders on strategy and execution, working in a highly matrixed organization.
