I’m currently partnered with a VC-backed technology startup that has built a highly differentiated SaaS platform operating at the intersection of government, cryptocurrency crime and cybersecurity. The business is mission-led and is already being used in high-impact environments where accuracy, trust and speed matter. The team itself is exceptional. It’s made up of senior practitioners across national security, cyber investigations and digital forensics. Including individuals holding Top Secret clearances and recognised subject-matter experts in their respective domains. This is not a concept-stage company – the technology is proven, and the credibility in the room is real. They’ve now reached a pivotal growth point and are looking to bring in a Director of Business Development. This hire will be responsible for owning net-new revenue generation, opening doors across government and adjacent sectors, and building long-term client relationships once business is secured. This is very much a hunter-led position, but with the expectation that the individual can also act as a trusted partner to clients post-sale.
