Job Description:

The Supplemental Benefits and Directed Spend team at CVS Health is one of the fastest-growing business units in the enterprise, positioned at the intersection of retail and healthcare. We are seeking a results-driven, financially savvy, and intellectually curious Director of Business Analytics to lead and scale our analytics and performance measurement capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the analytics and reporting function for Supplemental Benefits, connecting data insights to business strategy and financial outcomes
  • Develop and manage robust financial models to evaluate program performance, benefit utilization, ROI, cost drivers, and long-range planning
  • Establish and evolve KPIs, dashboards, and performance scorecards to track business health, identify trends, and surface growth opportunities
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure analytics informs key decisions across product design, benefit operations, and partner strategy
  • Implement process improvements that enhance data quality, streamline reporting, and scale analytics capabilities with discipline and consistency
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready insights that synthesize data, trends, and financial impacts into actionable business recommendations
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Act as an internal catalyst for innovation, using data to challenge assumptions, unlock whitespace opportunities, and guide new initiatives
  • Ensure strong data governance practices and standardization across systems and reporting workflows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, corporate strategy, finance, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
  • Demonstrated ability to connect analytics to financial levers and business performance
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Excel, Python, or R)
  • Track record of building scalable processes, reporting systems, and data governance frameworks
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing executive stakeholders
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset, with a proven ability to surface insights that lead to new products, process improvements, or market opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field

Nice to have:

MBA or advanced degree in a business or quantitative discipline
