Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a world-class team and work in one of Boston's most luxurious hotels. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Banquet team as a Director of Banquets.
Job Responsibility:
Efficiently plan, organize, and lead the employees in the Banquets Department while ensuring guest satisfaction
Coordinate the set up and detailed service of all functions in the property
Partner with the Food & Beverage and Sales & Catering teams to create and produce memorable banquet experiences for our guests
Requirements:
College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Previous management experience for a minimum of 3 years in high end Food & Beverage Operations
Banquet experience is preferred
Strong organization, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and overall strong leadership skills
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
