We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Analytics to lead and inspire our team of analysts and data scientists. This role will support the VP of BI & Analytics Solutions in shaping and executing the analytics vision, while also driving innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analysts and data scientists—guiding both their day-to-day work and long-term development
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages fresh thinking, diverse perspectives, and continuous improvement
Aggregate data from multiple systems to build a unified view of customer behavior, business performance, and marketing impact
Design and implement measurement plans tailored to client-specific goals and KPIs
Serve as the analytics liaison between internal teams including strategy, connections, development, and technology
Oversee and optimize modeling efforts for both linear and non-linear approaches, including marketing mix modeling (MMM) and attribution
Enhance and evolve customer segmentation methodologies using clustering, dimensionality reduction, and other statistical techniques
Ensure best practices are applied to all data visualization efforts—guiding dashboard design, storytelling, and reporting
Recommend appropriate analytics technologies (dashboards, storage, cloud solutions) based on business and client needs
Participate in high-stakes client pitches, delivering insights, proposing BI solutions, and presenting as part of the pitch team
Support digital initiatives including tagging strategies, QA processes, UTM implementation, and measurement best practices.
Requirements:
7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in a Senior Manager level role or 2-3 years in a Director level role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or Business Analytics)
Experience working with AI technologies—including Generative AI and analytical AI
Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing analytics teams
Strong understanding and experience of relational databases and experience working with tools like SQL, Salesforce, and Databricks
Proficiency in modeling tools and languages such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python—with hands-on ability to build and oversee models
Familiarity with marketing analytics technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Omniture) and digital measurement frameworks
Solid grasp of statistical modeling techniques including regression, clustering, factor analysis, and decision trees
Experience with MMM is a plus (not required), as is experience with marketing technology and media data
Understanding of how data flows through modern marketing systems and the technology ecosystem
Excellent communication and leadership skills
ability to translate complex analytical concepts for non-technical audiences.
