This team plays a crucial role in supporting Microsoft 365 and the Experiences + Devices group (E+D), both of which are central to the Company's mission to empower individuals and organizations to achieve more. Our objective is to foster a data-informed culture by equipping the Experiences + Devices group with actionable insights to guide their decisions. This initiative represents a significant opportunity to deliver impactful information that will improve operational efficiency, drive empowerment, and support Microsoft’s success in the evolving AI landscape. The Director of Analytics & Data Storytelling will play a critical role for our entire Data Science team. The Director will create a roadmap and backlog of compelling data stories working across our entire team. In addition, this data leader will be responsible for all external stories and metrics that are based on M365 data.

Job Responsibility

  • Communicating with Clarity & Impact: The ability to create impactful narratives and storytelling with data across a variety of contexts and mediums to influence product and business decision making
  • Day-to-Day Communications Expert: Oversee the progress on top research projects through the lens of impactful communication
