Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Accounting to lead critical accounting operations across multiple revenue-generating entities. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings deep expertise in revenue accounting, financial reporting, and process optimization.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the full-cycle accounting function across multiple entities, including general ledger oversight, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and related sub-ledgers
Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
Establish, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, operational procedures, and revenue-related systems to support a high-growth business environment
Prepare and deliver management reporting packages, cash collections forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses to support executive leadership and strategic decision-making
Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Executive Leadership on financial planning, company initiatives, and process improvements
Drive financial systems enhancements and lead special projects, including NetSuite optimization, system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and operational redesign efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Active CPA certification required
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience within publicly traded media, entertainment, or ad tech companies strongly preferred
