We’re looking for an experienced and motivated sales leader to join MaintainX as Director of Account Management for our Emerging segments. You will lead a team responsible for driving retention, expansion, and revenue growth across two of our most dynamic customer bases. Your primary objective will be to ensure the success of your Account Managers by providing clear direction, coaching, and operational discipline. You’ll define strategy, establish performance standards, and build scalable processes to help your team consistently meet and exceed their goals.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Emerging Account Management teams to achieve retention and expansion targets
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for growing revenue within existing accounts
Manage team operations to ensure goals, deadlines, and deliverables are consistently met
Drive accountability through effective forecasting, pipeline management, and data integrity in Salesforce
Provide ongoing coaching through 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy sessions
Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing team members
manage performance and career progression
Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, predictability, and scale
Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales Leadership, Marketing, Enablement, and RevOps to improve the customer expansion motion
Deliver regular reporting on team performance, pipeline health, and key initiatives
Requirements:
Over 5 years of leadership experience in Sales or Account Management within B2B SaaS
2+ years managing second-line sales teams
Proven success in building and scaling sales teams in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
Deep expertise in high-volume net-new and expansion sales motions, particularly within SMB segments
Experienced in leading sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, The Challenger Sale, and Value Selling
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through effective forecasting, pipeline management, and sales process optimization
Strong people leader and coach, with a track record of developing top-performing teams
Highly analytical and data-driven
skilled at translating metrics into actionable strategies
Collaborative and cross-functional, with a focus on aligning sales efforts to broader business goals
Nice to have:
Industry experience in CMMS, industrial SaaS, or related B2B verticals is a valuable asset
