Job Responsibility:
To provide leadership and accountability in the strategic and daily operations of the clinical service.
Developing and maintains excellent physician and associate relations, accountable for the quality of patient care provided by the nursing service.
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all functions of the service to include quality, administrative, and financial outcomes.
Oversees the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service and the nursing professional practice as a whole.
Assure achievement of department, nursing division and hospital goals as well as adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
A degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
Master's degree required. Must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
4 years progressive clinical leadership experience required. Experience in acute care preferred.
RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable.
Nursing Specialty Certification required to sit within 6 months
Must achieve within 1 year of hire or transfer to the role.
Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly
