Previous experience as an educator preferred
Two years’ experience in perioperative services preferred
Excellent customer service skills required
Current California RN license
BCLS required
ACLS required within 3 months of hire/transfer
PALS required within 3 months of hire/transfer
Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required within 30 days of hire/transfer

Job Responsibility

Participate in planning, organizing, and evaluation of patient care in the perioperative services departments under the guidance and supervision of the Corporate Director Perioperative Services and Vice President of Nursing
Help to develop and maintain high quality, evidence-based care through education and training to achieve optimal patient outcomes and a high level of patient satisfaction
Support the nursing team and foster a strong relationship with the leadership, medical staff, and employees
