Job Description

We are offering to qualified and experienced candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position. As our Director Nursing ICU at St. Mary Medical Center you will direct the operations of our 24 bed medical / surgical ICU, and respiratory care services. You will also oversee our on-site contracted dialysis services. In this role you will lead upwards of 150 staff to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care in fast paced environment. You will work with the executive leadership team, Departmental Directors, Nurse Manager ICU, and Respiratory Supervisor on key strategies and initiatives. We are looking for an experienced manager/director, with a track record of success overseeing critical care / ICU services. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required
  • Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience required
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
