As the Director Nursing Cardiac Services for Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating the overall performance of the Cardiovascular Service Line. You will provide operational oversight of clinical activities as it relates to program development and management, and identify opportunities for growth within service delivery. This position acts as liaison and communications link between medical staff, nursing personnel, hospital employees and outside vendors. You will also oversee internal telemedicine processes and telehealth outreach efforts pertinent to the service line. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards for the heart programs, maintaining current and accurate policies, procedures and practices pursuant to program accreditation and certification requirements. We are looking for an experienced director, with a track record of success in mid to large sized hospitals overseeing cardiac services. Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required
Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required
Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
