Director, Network Development & Operations (NDO) Help shape the future of mobility and our station network Your new team At Circle K, we are more than just a stop along the way; we keep Denmark moving and take responsibility for our contribution to the green transition. Our stations play a vital role in this effort, and in this position, you will hold the overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and development of our station network across Denmark. Being responsible for the station network, means that you will be part of a team that helps shape the future of mobility and develops our network for the benefit of both our business and the society. In addition, you will be responsible for leading a team of seven employees, several of whom work remotely. Our network is at the core of the business, and we are looking for a Director who can ensure stable operations today, while developing the stations of tomorrow, with a strong focus on EV and modern retail concepts. You will report to our Head of NDO Europe, be part of the European NDO leadership team, and work closely with the Danish leadership team. Leadership, operations, and development The Director role spans a broad scope – from reactive and preventive maintenance and environmental matters to new construction projects, refurbishments, and large‑scale investment projects. While leading your team, you ensure stable operations, drive major projects and investments, and actively contribute to strategic decisions as part of the leadership team. You are also responsible for budgets, suppliers, and cross‑functional collaboration across the organisation, always with a strong focus on sustainability, HSE, and future mobility. Key areas of responsibility Lead and develop the team, ensuring performance and delivery on objectives Overall maintenance and budget responsibility (OPEX and CAPEX), including annual budgeting and reporting to INGO and Circle K Maintenance responsibility for both brands Responsibility for a significant OPEX maintenance budget Delivery of capital investment projects Drive large projects and modernisation of the station network, including EV infrastructure Ensure stable and reliable operations across the entire network Strategic supplier management and collaboration across the organisation The person behind the title We are looking for an experienced leader with a solid technical and financial understanding, who can navigate complex projects and take responsibility across the organisation. You are not a hands‑on specialist, but a strong project leader who creates structure, momentum, effective collaboration, and results across a wide and diverse portfolio. As Director, you are a confident member of a leadership team where your input is valued and actively used. You understand the connection between operations, investments, and strategy, and anticipates what comes next, enabling you to make sound decisions with confidence, based on what is best for the business at any given time. You thrive with variation and can maintain a strong overview, while prioritising financial discipline, structure, and progress. You will have access to sparring from both technical specialists within the team and the former Director, Peter Nicholsen Christensen, but the ability to independently drive initiatives and make decisions is essential.
