Job Description:

The Mission Intelligence Director involves guiding and managing the integration of Mission data management and analytics for CHRISTUS Health. It includes acquiring, structuring, and enabling data for reports and analysis across multiple system touchpoints. The individual will manage the operational activities of the Mission team related to data management and analytics. In collaboration with the Dignity and Community Impact Team, the Director will dedicate approximately 50% of their time to leading high impact initiatives that promote dignity, health equity, and community impact initiatives. This role will establish work priorities, direct and monitor project work, maintain relevant metrics, and provide regular updates to Leadership. This position will report directly to the EVP, Chief Mission Integration Officer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide regular visibility of ethics consults to ensure transparency and adherence to ethical standards
  • Lead the development and implementation of metrics to assess the impact and quality of spiritual care services, driving continuous improvement
  • Apply Results-Based Accountability (RBA) frameworks to evaluate program outcomes and inform strategic decision-making
  • Oversee analytics initiatives across Mission domains, including data ingestion, validation, engineering, modeling, and visualization
  • Serve as a thought leader in data science, big data, and advanced analytics to inform Mission strategy and operations
  • Integrate and optimize diverse data sources to ensure robust, scalable, and actionable insights
  • Design and deploy tools that translate complex data into meaningful actions across the organization
  • Develop innovative metrics and visualizations to understand patient experience, health needs and behaviors, and social determinants of health
  • Architect automated Mission reporting through analytic solutions
  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and application of predictive modeling and strategic forecasting initiatives, leveraging advanced big data and artificial intelligence technologies to drive data-informed decision-making across Mission-critical programs
  • Ensure effective governance and executive-level reporting, aligning analytics outputs with organizational priorities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to define business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • 6+ years of experience in analyzing data to produce actionable insights and recommendations required
  • 2+ years of leadership/management experience required
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively with Associates at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of content area including theory, methods, and concepts. Ability to transform theory, methods, and concepts into understandable, tangible designs and measurable results
  • Certifications in analytics or data solution platforms preferred
  • Certification in Results Based Accountability preferred
