The Director of Product Management & New Product Development is responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation and launch of new products to the optimization and growth of an established product portfolio. This role serves as a critical connector across the organization, translating business strategy into product execution while effectively communicating both upward to executive leadership and downward to product teams, as well as laterally across Sales, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience. The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, deep technology product experience, and a commercial mindset rooted in sales or marketing, with the ability to balance innovation, customer value, and financial performance.
Job Responsibility:
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle strategy for both new and existing products
Align product strategy with corporate objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs
Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the product portfolio to maximize growth, profitability, and customer value
Lead new product ideation, business case development, and go-to-market planning
Partner with Technology, UX, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions
Oversee stage-gate or agile development processes, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
Drive market validation, pilot programs, and post-launch performance reviews
Own ongoing client-facing product performance, including adoption, revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and lifecycle optimization
Identify enhancement opportunities based on customer feedback, market trends, and performance analytics
Drive growth initiative planning and deployment
Manage product sunsetting, migration, and modernization strategies as needed
Serve as the primary product leader interfacing with Sales, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support
Communicate product strategy, priorities, and performance clearly to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Enable Sales, Marketing, and Communications teams with clear value propositions, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
Influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams and perspectives
Lead, mentor, and develop product managers and product leaders
Establish product management best practices, governance, and decision frameworks
Foster a customer-centric, data-driven, and outcome-oriented product culture
Requirements:
12+ years of progressive business experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in Sales, Marketing, or Commercial Strategy
Demonstrated experience managing technology-based products across their full lifecycle
Demonstrated experience in Digital Marketing discipline and initiative development
Proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed organizations
