Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a visionary and execution-focused Director of Marketing Technology & Consumer Digital Experience to lead the strategy, modernization, and optimization of our marketing technology ecosystem for the US Sector. This leader will define the 24–36-month technology roadmap and drive the implementation of platforms that enable personalized, scalable, and profitable consumer experiences. As a shared services role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with leaders from across multiple lines of business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year Martech roadmap in partnership with Marketing and Technology teams
  • Serve as the primary owner of the Martech ecosystem, including Marketing Automation/ESP, Consumer Data Platform (CDP), Content Management System (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), e-Commerce, personalization tools, and analytics
  • Strategically focus digital platform development roadmaps — including web and mobile channels — to drive consumer revenue growth, acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies (AI, conversational interfaces, mobile engagement tools, messaging platforms) to enhance personalization and operational efficiency
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and SLA performance
  • Manage the US Sector Martech budget and drive ROI through performance measurement, optimization, and continuous improvement
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, OpX, and Technology teams to ensure unified execution and alignment
  • Provide strategic consulting services to 11 distinct business units across the US Sector which may use disparate technologies
  • Own consumer data strategy across platforms, including identity resolution standards, data taxonomy
  • Ensure effective alignment of consumer data storage and campaign activation to consent and compliance requirements (CCPA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA)
  • Partner with Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Architecture to ensure secure, scalable, integrated, and compliant solutions
  • Stay current with industry trends through conferences, partner engagement, and market research

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2C digital or marketing technology leadership roles
  • 5+ years of experience leading implementation and management of digital experience and martech platforms required
  • Experience with enterprise-grade solutions (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, SAP, or similar) strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing industries
  • Deep expertise with CRM, CDP, loyalty, and campaign automation platforms
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, integrations, and consumer identity resolution
  • Experience managing vendors, SLAs, and technology budgets
  • Strong people leader with experience working in matrixed environments
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for consumer-centric innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead agile teams and adopt agile methodologies
  • Experience applying AI technologies to marketing personalization and optimization
