Job Description:

The Director – Marketing and Digital Domain PODs is responsible for leading Marriott’s technology strategy and execution across marketing and digital platforms. This role ensures that systems supporting marketing campaigns, digital engagement, and customer experience are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. The position oversees the design, development, and governance of solutions within marketing and digital domains, enabling personalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making. With a focus on platform integration, analytics, and innovation, this role supports Marriott’s mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive brand growth through digital channels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and execute the technology roadmap for marketing and digital domain PODs, ensuring alignment with Marriott’s enterprise strategy
  • Lead design and implementation of scalable solutions for marketing automation, CRM, and digital engagement
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Technology teams to deliver personalized experiences and optimize campaign performance
  • Establish standards for data quality, governance, and security across marketing and digital platforms
  • Drive automation and modernization initiatives for marketing workflows and digital services
  • Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Stay current with emerging marketing and digital technologies and assess their applicability to Marriott’s ecosystem
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital platforms, or enterprise systems
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital engagement technologies
  • Strong understanding of data integration, analytics, and personalization frameworks
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development practices
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
