AMD is seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Director, Lenovo Global Account Manager to lead AMD's global engagement with Lenovo across its Data Center and Client business. This role is responsible for defining and executing AMD's global program strategy with Lenovo, driving platform adoption, accelerating regional engagement, expanding revenue and market share, and strengthening AMD's position across Lenovo's complete portfolio. As the owner of the Lenovo Alliance and strategic growth relationship, you will work closely with Lenovo's senior alliance and business leaders to align long-term strategies, influence future platform roadmaps, and identify opportunities for joint growth. You will also partner extensively across AMD Business Units, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Regional Sales organizations to ensure alignment and flawless execution. This is a highly visible role operating at the intersection of executive engagement, platform strategy, AI infrastructure growth, and global account leadership.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain executive-level account plans, forecasts, and growth initiatives
Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements to influence AMD strategy
Leverage analytics, AI-enabled tools, and business insights to improve forecasting, opportunity management, and strategic planning
Create the joint business planning framework with Lenovo to build business goals, align on go-to-market activities & investments, and track measurement of critical metrics
Execute sales strategies for targeted growth through collaboration with Lenovo and AMD cross functional teams
Strike the balance between influencing the desired behaviors across the customer and sales team, while enforcing governance and good disciplines when required
Own AMD's global Alliance relationship with Lenovo, serving as the primary business leader for strategy and execution
Define and execute multi-year account strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, platform adoption, and strategic alignment
Build and maintain strong executive relationships across Lenovo product management, engineering, procurement, sales, and business leadership organizations
Position AMD as a trusted technology partner and strategic advisor across Lenovo's portfolio
Represent AMD in executive-level business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and roadmap discussions with Lenovo leadership
Build alignment across AMD Business Units, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Regional Sales teams
Partner with Lenovo and AMD leadership teams to identify and remove barriers to growth
Coordinate ecosystem engagement with CSPs, enterprise customers, channel partners, and strategic industry alliances
Requirements

Ability to keep a pulse on the market, a deep understanding of the sales cycle/processes and a proven track record of structuring and conducting analyses to generate insight and recommendations to increase sales/market share, all while managing multiple targeted programs both within AMD and Lenovo
Experience operating successfully within highly matrixed global organizations
Strong program management, forecasting, and business planning capabilities
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation to improve business execution, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts while driving business outcomes
Strong understanding of OEM business models, product development cycles, and go-to-market strategies
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field required
