Job Description:

A well-established statutory organization is seeking a Director, Legal & Enforcement to lead its enforcement function. This senior leadership role is ideal for a legal professional with strong experience in regulatory enforcement, investigations, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Interpreting legal provisions related to anti-competitive practices, exemptions, and leniency regimes
Managing investigations, conducting raids, handling evidence, and overseeing prosecutions
Drafting and reviewing reports, recommendations, and enforcement decisions
Ensuring compliance with regulatory directives and legal obligations under competition law
Handling undertakings and interim measures
Managing prosecution cases, indicating coordination with courts and external legal counsel
Providing legal input to upper management and the Commission

Requirements:

LL.B. or equivalent law degree with a minimum of 15 years experience
Experience in a statutory body, law enforcement agency, or public interest litigation
