We are seeking a visionary and decisive Director of Learning & Development to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative learning strategies that align with our organization's goals and drive employee growth and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the organization's mission, vision, and objectives
Lead and inspire a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Design and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge training programs, including e-learning, classroom-based, and blended learning solutions
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted development initiatives
Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using data-driven metrics and implement improvements based on findings
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new methodologies and technologies as appropriate
Partner with People & Culture and other departments to integrate L&D initiatives with talent management and succession planning processes
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and learning partners to enhance the organization's training capabilities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven track record in strategic planning and execution of large-scale learning initiatives
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and instructional design
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
Excellent project management, budgeting, and financial management skills
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities to measure training effectiveness and ROI
Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Experience in talent management and organizational development
Familiarity with emerging trends in corporate training and development
Experience of working in Vietnam is a must
