The Head of IT will be responsible for the overall strategy, development, and operation of the company's information technology infrastructure, systems, and security. This is a critical leadership role that requires a hands-on strategic thinker who can ensure our IT architecture supports rapid growth, manufacturing efficiency (Industry 4.0), and the complex data needs of an EV ecosystem (e.g., telematics, charging infrastructure, supply chain).
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive, scalable IT roadmap that aligns with the company's business goals
Serve as the key technology leader and strategic advisor to the executive team
Manage the annual IT budget
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team
Manage and maintain the entire IT infrastructure, including cloud services, data centers, networks, and end-user hardware/software
Establish and enforce a robust cybersecurity framework
Develop and manage comprehensive Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to support the data pipeline for vehicle telematics, charging network data, and fleet management systems
Establish secure and efficient data warehousing/lake solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of IT, IT Director)
Proven experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or high-growth technology company is essential. EV experience is a significant plus
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and risk management
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
Nice to have:
Experience with greenfield IT infrastructure build-out or scaling IT operations for a company moving from prototype to mass production
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL
Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) as they relate to IT infrastructure
