Job Description

Reporting to VP Investor Relations, this position is responsible for leading and advancing Hershey's investor relations strategy to broaden and deepen the investment community's understanding of the Company's long-term growth opportunities, financial performance, and strategic priorities. This role serves as a senior advisor and key business partner to the Head of Investor Relations and executive leadership, shaping external narratives, influencing investor perception, and strengthening Hershey's reputation with shareholders and the broader financial community. The role operates as an integral connector across Finance, Strategy, Legal, and Communications, ensuring consistent, high-quality disclosures and messaging. It also plays a critical role in synthesizing market insights, investor sentiment, and competitive intelligence to inform leadership decision-making and enhance valuation transparency.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with the Head of IR to shape and evolve Hershey's investor relations strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and long-term value creation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional investors and analysts, leading meetings and engaging directly on complex financial and strategic topics
  • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact investor engagements, including investor days, conferences, and Board-level communications
  • Influence senior leadership on investor messaging, positioning, and external narrative
  • Drive innovation in investor engagement by leveraging AI, analytics, and financial technologies to enhance targeting, insights, and outreach effectiveness
  • Own and direct the development of all investor-facing materials, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic alignment
  • Lead the end-to-end earnings process, including executive messaging, Q&A development, and narrative positioning, ensuring readiness for complex investor scrutiny

  • Translate complex financial and market data into strategic recommendations that inform communication, positioning, and business decisions
  • Play a key role in preparing leadership for external events (e.g., earnings calls, CAGNY), ensuring messaging reflects both performance and market context
  • Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders (FP&A, Strategy, HR, ESG, Legal) to align investor insights with enterprise decision-making
  • Lead development of Board of Director materials related to investor sentiment, peer performance, and market positioning
  • Oversee peer, analyst, and ESG reporting to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with Hershey's long-term strategy
  • Ensure strong governance of IR processes, monitoring disclosure risks and implementing improvements to strengthen transparency and credibility

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in financial analysis, valuation frameworks, and capital markets, with the ability to connect financial performance to strategic narrative
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leaders and external stakeholders, including investors and analysts
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively in high-stakes environments
