Job Description

The College Board is seeking a Director of International Market Management to join their team, focusing on Latin America, the Caribbean, and U.S. Territories, with a commitment to expanding educational opportunities for students outside the United States.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute strategic plans in consultation with regional leadership and cross-divisional partners
  • Maintain account planning processes and conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts
  • Identify market-specific opportunities and challenges and provide personalized, data-informed recommendations to sustain and grow partnerships
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategic recommendations aligned to international goals
  • Develop and manage a secure sales pipeline aligned to the needs of schools and school networks
  • Collaborate with international colleagues to support program growth, training, and implementation
  • Plan and deliver workshops and professional development for K–12 and higher education audiences
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase AP and SAT recognition among universities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across organizations, universities, and ministries of education
  • Partner closely with colleagues across regions and SDP to share insights, coordinate strategy, and strengthen collective work
  • Provide coaching and support to junior staff
  • Use Salesforce CRM to manage accounts, monitor progress toward goals, and support proactive task and opportunity management
  • Lead or manage divisional or regional projects assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in the education field, with a preference for business development, partnerships or sales
  • Experience managing a large, complex client account directing service delivery and support while identifying and driving new business opportunities
  • Clear and concise communication skills, including the ability to analyze, synthesize and present key data for a range of audiences
  • Strong organization, prioritization and teamwork skills, including managing multiple time-sensitive projects and planning in-country events
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including comfort adopting Salesforce and AI-driven tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively outside the USA on College Board business (25 -30%, depending on market assignment)
  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred) and Portuguese (optional)
  • Resident in USA, Citizen of USA with US passport for travel
