Job Description:

The position will be responsible for the usual tactical and strategic areas, some of which are noted but this is not 100% complete. The role ensures that the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Position directs and works with human resource associates to carry out the daily activity’s such as recruitment, total compensation, employee relations, and training, onboarding, and development
  • Executes against objectives outlined in the Human Resources Business Plan and delivers services that meet or exceed the needs of Ladies & Gentlemen and enable business success
  • Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Managing Legal and Compliance Practices
  • Managing Human Resources Communication
  • Managing Staffing and Employee Development Activities
  • Maintaining Employee Relations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in luxury hospitality in a leadership capacity and at least one year of management experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in Hotel and Tourism required, five diamond hotel experience preferred
  • Experience in hotel operations a strong preference to establish understanding of the business of hotels
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience directly managing/supervising people
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering training programs
  • The ability to provide effective guidance and counseling to employees and managers
  • Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with all employees and applicants
  • Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional in work, style, and appearance
  • Proven ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of employee and hotel information
