We’re looking for a talented and highly collaborative leader with a service-oriented mindset to join our Global HR team as HR Director. In this exciting new opportunity, the HR Director, reporting to Head of HR Global Functions will provide support to our Global Functions. The role is intended to support execution of Circle K strategies and ensure human resource management aligned with corporate policies, employee relations and development, guidelines and Circle K values. As a HR Director, you have the end to end responsibility for HR support for managers and employees in Global Functional teams as well as supporting the executive leadership of these departments. The responsibilities include supporting organizational changes on global, regional and local levels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support business leaders in developing and executing HR priorities that enable business priorities and foster our Circle K culture
  • Provide strong leadership and global collaboration, you will advise and work across all levels of leadership, supporting senior leadership on strategic matters related to global HR functions
  • Maintains business relationships by developing an understanding of the strategies, business operations
  • attending client meetings
  • assisting in preparation of presentations
  • answering questions
  • explaining policies and procedures and providing viable alternatives
  • Initiate and build a positive culture and work environment with focus on engagement and strengths-based leadership and frequent feedback
  • Raise HR issues on the management agenda in meetings and correspondence

  • Employer Branding initiatives and recruitment processes, selecting and hiring the best candidates
  • Coach and train managers to support a values-based culture, while supporting growth and development of their teams
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Other combinations of job related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted
  • Workday and prior experience with labor relations is preferred
  • A confident HR professional profile with solid internal HR partnering experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and act on organizational needs
  • Service mindedness and “can do” attitude
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills in groups of different size with ability to engage and inform
  • Strong experience with handling of personnel and grievance matters and ability to assess risks effectively
  • Efficiency in all Microsoft Office
