The Director, HR Business Partner / Colleague Strategic Partner (CSP) will join the CSP organization at American Express, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and their teams across U.S. Consumer, Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). In this role, the Director will provide strategic HR support to our colleagues to influence and accelerate workforce readiness, elevate change leadership, transform processes and experiences, and deliver on our competitive value proposition.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of HR or organizational consulting experience, including advising leaders in complex, matrixed, and regulated environments
  • HRBP experience a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives that delivered measurable business results
  • Proven ability to proactively translate business strategy into talent and workforce strategies that drive performance, organizational effectiveness, and fuel growth
  • Knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines, including talent management, recruitment, organizational effectiveness, compensation, leadership development and colleague labor relations
  • Strong business acumen: understanding of our business strategy, plans, and the impact of internal and external factors
  • Strategic thinking: proactively develop ideas that drive meaningful colleague experiences and competitive advantage
