Job Description

Change leads and oversees transformational change initiatives at Barclays. Your role will involve managing projects and programs that drive strategic improvements and ensure successful implementation of change across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the end-to-end technology leadership, delivery, and operational resilience of Private Bank platforms and services supporting the India onshore business
  • Deliver the PB India technology strategy and roadmaps aligned to Global PBWM priorities and India requirements
  • Own technology change delivery and run-the-bank outcomes for PB India platforms and services
  • Drive modernization across applications, data, and automation within enterprise governance
  • Ensure strong regulatory preparedness and compliance with Indian regulatory expectations
  • Own technology risk management, audit readiness, issue remediation, and control effectiveness
  • Embed regulatory foresight and resilience considerations into technology planning and execution
  • Act as a bridge between Global PBWM Technology and India execution
  • Influence global platform and vendor strategies to address India requirements
  • Own the India technology ecosystem, including vendor-led platforms and third-party services
  • Ensure vendor solutions meet Barclays standards for resilience, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead and develop a high-performing PB India technology organisation
  • Build leadership depth, succession plans, and a sustainable talent pipeline
  • Partner closely with Private Bank Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and senior global technology leaders
  • Represent PB India Technology with credibility in senior stakeholder and regulatory interactions

Requirements

  • Extensive senior technology leadership experience within Tier-1 Financial Services
  • Proven delivery and operational leadership in regulated, complex environments
  • Strong understanding of banking regulation, audit, and technology risk management
  • Experience operating effectively in global, matrixed organisations
  • Strong executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills

Nice to have

  • Private Banking or Wealth Management domain experience
  • Exposure to data platforms, cloud, automation, and modern engineering practices
  • Experience engaging with Indian and global regulators
