Job Description

Reporting to the VP of Growth, this role is responsible for defining and executing Rocket Money’s TV acquisition strategy. You will operate as a senior leader within the Growth organization by owning performance outcomes. You will oversee the execution, analysis, and optimization of Linear TV and Streaming TV. On top of that, you will be a thought-leader in growth data discovery, go-to-market strategy, creative strategy, growth engineering/data partnerships, and challenging the media buying status quo. This is an opportunity to make an immediate, measurable impact on Rocket Money’s growth. We are in a hyper-growth phase, and as a leader on the growth team, you will be expected to accelerate velocity, unlock new scale, and raise the bar for how we approach performance marketing.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end execution of Rocket Money’s TV media buying across Linear TV and Streaming TV, including planning, budgeting, targeting, scheduling, optimization, and post-buys analysis
  • Optimize TV spend for efficiency and impact by identifying high-potential pockets, developing repeatable playbooks, and scaling winning tactics across markets
  • Own budget management and forecasting for TV
  • monitor pacing, spend effectiveness, and ROI
  • report findings with actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with Data, Product, Engineering, and CRM to improve measurement, strengthen attribution, unlock growth levers, and ensure data quality across campaigns
  • Establish a rigorous, structured experimentation roadmap for TV, with clear hypotheses, success criteria, and actionable learnings
  • Lead and manage a high performing growth marketing manager, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals
  • Partner with the Creative team to ensure TV creative is best-in-class and performance-driven

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in TV media buying at a high growth consumer company, startup, or agency
  • People management experience with a track record of developing high performing growth or media buying teams
  • Strong analytical foundation with fluency in core growth and efficiency metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV to CAC, and blended performance
  • Proven ability to translate data and experimentation into clear strategic direction and execution
  • Experience owning Agency relationships and coordinating across internal and external partners
  • You have a holistic view of the marketing funnel and understand the role of each channel
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and making fast decisions with imperfect information
  • Experience running incrementality tests and implementing the finding into channel strategies
  • Naturally curious, with a strong inclination to question assumptions and validate ideas through data and experimentation
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • Hands-on experience planning traditional TV Upfront and buying Sponsorships
  • A sports fan with an understanding of the sports media landscape
  • Experience with Looker or similar analytics tools is a plus
