Job Description:

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective management and optimization of the company’s financial IT systems, including ERP platforms, financial reporting tools, business intelligence, and related technologies. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-efficient, and timely financial information systems in compliance with IT and financial regulations, supporting the company’s strategic and operational goals. This position reports directly to the CFO.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of financial IT systems, including SAP-Concur-interface
  • Ensure efficient financial data management, reporting, and business intelligence processes
  • Ensure compliance with IT and financial regulations
  • Support the integration of new systems and tools, such as Workday and others as they arise
  • Liaise with CFO, executive management, department heads, board members, external auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Serve as a strong partner to Finance, IT, Talent, and other business functions
  • understand the needs of Finance and actively collaborate on solutions
  • Provide proactive support and problem resolution related to financial systems and data

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in finance, information systems, or a related field
  • Fluent in English
  • proficiency in German is a plus
  • Physical presence required at headquarters in Ottobrunn (3–4 office days per week)
  • Extensive experience in financial IT systems management (≥10 years)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and integrative skills
