Job Description

Director, Deal Desk is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for the governance, packaging, pricing, and execution of advertising inventory and data deals across programmatic and managed service channels. This leader will serve as the central point of coordination between Sales, Media Operations, Trading, Product, Finance, and Account Management, ensuring that all commercial opportunities are structured to maximize revenue, protect margin, and scale efficiently.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, media operations, or commercial strategy
  • Deep expertise in SSP/DSP mechanics, inventory packaging, curated marketplaces, and deal execution
  • Proven experience owning pricing strategy, yield management, and commercial governance
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Track record of building scalable processes and high-performing teams in growth environments
  • Commercial mindset with comfort owning revenue, margin, and operational outcomes

Nice to have

  • Have experience in sports, premium video, or live-event media organizations
  • Have worked closely with agency buyers and holding companies
  • Are fluent with SSPs, DSPs, Salesforce, Confluence, and BI / reporting tools
  • Bring experience from revenue operations, commercial strategy, or monetization roles
