Comprised of key internal and external servicing functions, Global Servicing (GS) delivers extraordinary customer care to Card Members, merchants, and commercial clients around the world, while also providing world-class travel & lifestyle, credit, collections, and fraud services. The Director Finance – Global Servicing Analytics will lead an existing high performing team of data scientists to generate data-driven insights across Global Servicing.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the central analytics team across GS Finance, creating impactful analyses to develop recommendations, influence outcomes, and meet business plans
  • Build and maintain close partnership with GS MIS and strategy teams to effectively source and analyze servicing operational data and create meaningful connections to AXP Business KPIs, cardmember behaviors, GS OpEx and other Finance data
  • Own end-to-end management of current data model that creates account-level servicing expense datasets, including monthly refresh, data source/logic change management, and ongoing expansion into international markets
  • Present to Senior Business and Finance leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • 7+ years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of SQL, Lumi, Python, and other programming languages for manipulating large and complex data sets
