Job Description

Responsible for providing strategic financial leadership that guides Barrow Neurological Institute(BNI) Foundation's long-term sustainability and growth. In close collaboration with the President, the Board of Trustees, Women's Board, BNI leadership, and other key external constituents, this role collaborates to ensure strong financial planning, oversight, and decision-making across all philanthropic activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with the President, Board of Trustees, and BNI leadership to develop and oversee the financial management strategy for Philanthropy
  • Lead the development and management of annual operating budgets, financial forecasts, long-term financial plans, and FTE planning
  • Provide comprehensive oversight of all accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions
  • Ensure strong financial controls, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and coordination of annual audits and IRS filings
  • Monitor financial performance and risks across foundations and affiliated entities
  • Lead system-wide operational initiatives
  • Oversee grants management operations
  • Drive operational efficiency and cost savings through system contracting, vendor management, and alignment with enterprise policies
  • Partner with the President, Boards of Trustees, executive leadership, and system stakeholders to support strategic planning, decision-making, and long-range financial sustainability
  • Provide financial leadership and decision support to Boards and Committees
  • Support Board and Committee governance for affiliated programs and entities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7 years of progressive experience
  • 5 years of leadership experience
