Job Description

1Password is seeking a Director of Field Marketing to build and scale a revenue pioneering field marketing team that delivers measurable pipeline, accelerates sales cycles, and strengthens relationships with our most strategic accounts. This leader will design and operationalize a portfolio of field marketing programs- from executive hospitality and regional events to third-party partnerships and co-marketing activations- into repeatable, scalable “programs in a box.”

Job Responsibility

  • Build a scalable field marketing framework, aligning regional programs to corporate demand generation and pipeline goals
  • Define and standardize “program in a box” templates for repeatable execution, including playbooks, audience targeting models, messaging frameworks, and follow-up processes
  • Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to identify high-priority accounts and locations, and translate GTM priorities into field activation plans
  • Establish a marketing-led framework for audience and attendance strategy
  • Build quarterly and annual field plans and budgets that include executive experiences, customer expansion programs, and partner activations
  • Evolve sports marketing activations into repeatable VIP experiences across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
  • Define and execute a marketing-led strategy for attendee acquisition and engagement across all executive hospitality events
  • Develop pre-, during-, and post-event engagement strategies that convert attendance into pipeline
  • Oversee the team responsible for operational execution and attendee experience
  • Scale regional CISO round table events, third-party forum sponsorships, and thought leadership events
  • Select regional IT security event sponsorships that align to 1Password’s brand and demand generation objectives
  • Standardize execution through turnkey event kits
  • Build post-event incentive frameworks
  • Collaborate with the partner leadership and partner marketing teams to identify opportunities for sponsored or jointly executed field marketing events
  • Launch joint customer and partner user groups, co-sponsored field activations, and better-together campaigns
  • Enable scalable partner-led field activations through plug-and-play templates and brand assets
  • Define KPIs that link every field activation to pipeline impact
  • Build reporting frameworks and dashboards that track performance across program types, regions, and personas

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with deep expertise in field, experiential, or regional marketing
  • Experience within a Cybersecurity SaaS company
  • Proven ability to design and scale repeatable field programs that align with enterprise sales motions
  • Demonstrated success running high-touch executive events that generate pipeline and deepen customer engagement
  • Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline who is able to move seamlessly between big-picture planning and flawless execution
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security or SaaS markets, and familiarity with buyer personas across IT, security, and C-suite
