We are looking to hire a Director, Federal Program Management Delivery, based in the Washington DC metro area, to lead secure delivery for Intelligence Community customers, translating complex mission and security requirements into trusted, scalable outcomes that protect national interests and strengthen Microsoft’s Federal Intelligence business. This role focuses on developing people and operating effectively in a highly matrixed environment—partnering across delivery, engineering, sales, and security leaders to drive alignment, accelerate execution, and achieve measurable business and mission outcomes. Job Responsibility:
Lead Secure, High‑Impact Delivery
Own the overall health, quality, and success of a portfolio of security consulting engagements
Serve as a senior escalation point for security related delivery, technical, financial, and contractual matters—stepping in early to manage risk and keep outcomes on track
Engage directly with customer executives and steering committees to remove blockers, build trust, and drive results
Ensure consistent delivery excellence through Microsoft methodologies, quality standards, and governance
Drive Business Growth & Portfolio Performance
Partner closely with Sales, pursuits, engineering, and portfolio teams to shape deliverable, outcome‑focused opportunities
Ensure engagements are structured for success—balancing customer value, risk, consumption, and financial health
Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements, accelerate cloud consumption, and bring forward next-step proposals
Own consultant utilization, business target attainment for security, and backlog risk
Enable Teams & Build Talent
Lead and develop Consultants through coaching, clear expectations, and accountability

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 6+ years experience in consulting/professional services delivery, project management, practice management, or related field OR equivalent experience
3+ years people management experience
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements pre-offer and post-hire
Position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Experience delivering cybersecurity, cloud, or technology solutions in regulated, mission‑driven, or complex enterprise environments, including public sector or similarly governed industries
Demonstrated people leadership experience, such as leading, mentoring, or coaching teams through delivery, operational change, or growth—especially within matrixed or cross‑functional organizations
Working knowledge of core security concepts (e.g., Zero Trust, identity, cloud security, risk management) and the ability to apply them pragmatically to customer and business needs
Ability to translate customer, mission, and business priorities into actionable execution plans, balancing security requirements with delivery speed, quality, and measurable outcomes
Exposure to financial and operational management, including managing to budgets or forecasts, and using business metrics (such as delivery health, utilization, margin, or customer satisfaction) to guide decisions and drive performance
Familiarity with AI and AI‑first approaches in cybersecurity, along with experience or interest in developing, using, or scaling reusable assets or intellectual property (e.g., playbooks, patterns, accelerators) to improve consistency, efficiency, and impact
