Job Description:

The Director of Events and Experiences at Bilt will be responsible for overseeing and scaling our events function & calendar, ensuring seamless execution of all Bilt’s branded moments. This individual will focus specifically on our most hospitality-forward events, across our key merchant partners and consumer brand teams. You will collaborate across multiple teams, including design, creative, and operations, to ensure that every touchpoint delivers a premium, cohesive experience that represents the Bilt brand at its highest level. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader who can manage complex logistics and quick timelines, bring a vast number of pre-vetted vendors, venues and partners, and scale experiences efficiently while maintaining tight budget controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evolve Bilt’s Consumer Brand Events Strategy
  • Lead, grow, and improve upon our current pipeline of events and experiences curated for our group of influencers and partners
  • Ensuring a membership-level experience across all touchpoints
  • Evolve the strategy to include new activations, such as Block Party, House Party, and other neighborhood-focused events
  • Bring a wealth of hospitality knowledge and customer service experience into the role as you work to build lasting relationships with guests through the memorable, unique and engaging events you produce
  • Scale Bilt’s Neighborhood Commerce Event Strategy
  • Lead and expand Bilt’s B2B and B2C events strategy across key markets, ensuring alignment with brand goals and partner engagement
  • Manage an events calendar, developing a roadmap for offering more in-person experiences for Bilt partners, and enhancing community and brand presence
  • Develop relationships and work closely with internal partners to ensure the events you produce ladder up to broader company goals that help grow our partner network through thoughtful, white glove, and bespoke experiences
  • Manage Partner and Vendor Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to flawlessly execute events and ensure Bilt's high standards are met
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to optimize value and maintain budget efficiency, without sacrificing quality or experience
  • Logistics and Operations
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics, ensuring smooth execution from planning through post-event debrief. Includes event setup, logistics management, and on-site coordination
  • Lead operational initiatives across the team, solving any logistical or operational challenges to ensure seamless project execution
  • Continuously improve and streamline event production processes to increase efficiency and scalability

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in brand operations, event management, or related fields
  • 5+ years in hospitality-related experiences
  • Strong experience in vendor management, budgeting, and logistical planning
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering premium experiences
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a creative eye for branded experiences
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams
