Job Description:

Lead with compassion and operational excellence as the Director of Environmental Services at Samaritan Healthcare’s newest hospital, located in the heart of scenic Moses Lake, Washington.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development, launch, and day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services department
  • Oversee four direct reports and approximately 30 FTEs
  • Spearhead efforts to implement standardized operational workflows
  • Provide staff training on processes and procedures
  • Evaluate the use of robotics and identify opportunities to enhance their integration and effectiveness across the facility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s required
  • Masters preferred
  • A minimum of two years of leadership experience
  • Five to seven years of experience in environmental services
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) preferred or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
  • Union experience is preferred
  • Collaborative team player with a transparent communication style
  • Strong background in environmental services leadership
