Director, EMV 3DS Product Management, Europe

The Director of EMV 3DS Authentication Europe will own the regional strategy, product roadmap and performance/revenue KPIs of Mastercard’s EMV 3DS authentication product (Identity Check). This Director will be accountable for driving product innovation across strong customer authentication (including new authentications such as passkeys or EUDI wallet based authentication methods through 3DS) and risk-based authentication, ensuring Mastercard remains the trusted leader in seamless and secure digital transaction experiences. This Director is responsible for aligning global authentication product capabilities with European digital payments strategy (including Mastercard Checkout Services such as merchant tokenization and Click to Pay, …), regulatory requirements (PSD3/PSR, EUDI), local customer needs (issuer/acquirer/merchant/3DS/ACS), and market-specific dynamics to enable authentication experiences that have low friction, high security and are compliant with regulations. The Director will partner deeply with global product/engineering, authentication market product management, regulatory affairs, analytics, optimization, commercialization and customer technical delivery teams.
