Job Responsibility

  • Lead the team of specialised employment lawyers who are redefining Glovo’s operating model in Spain, and oversee our HR operations in Yellow Park.
  • Impact business operations and product with effective and out of the box advice.
  • Manage and coordinate litigation, investigations, and disputes, working with external counsel when needed.
  • Anticipate risks and recommend solutions to our management, including Public Affairs and settlement strategies.
  • Oversee strategic engagement with Works Councils and Unions to foster constructive social dialogue.
  • Builds strong relationships with executive and functional heads at Glovo, while working closely with and reporting to our parent entity.

Requirements

  • You are a Spanish qualified employment lawyer, with strong litigation experience, and 10 PQE, ideally combining experience in a reputable law firm, and advising tech companies.
  • You have led high performing teams, and are able to build strong relationships with your team, executives and functional leads through credibility and mutual respect.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
  • you have mastered executive communication and are able to simplify complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
  • You have a hands-on approach to work and are always ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Your advice is pragmatic and impactful, and you are able to balance legal risk with business opportunity.

  • Build and implement an EMEA Employee and Labour Relations strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and values, partnering closely with key cross‑functional stakeholders such as People Business Partners, Employment Legal, Site Experience, Employee Communications, Workplace and HR Compliance
  • Proactively identify employee relations issues and trends across EMEA (including Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands) and develop strategies to prevent or mitigate them
  • Analyse case trends, generate data insights and develop solutions to address hot spots, including training managers on employee relations matters and designing targeted intervention strategies/programs
  • Support existing and emerging Works Council management needs and create and maintain positive relationships with Works Council representatives and other employee representative bodies across the region
  • Manage employee relations issues, cases and investigations in EMEA, ensuring they are resolved promptly, fairly and in line with company policies and applicable local laws in multiple jurisdictions
