The EMEA TA Services team is part of Global Fund Distribution Services (GFDS) within BlackRock's Technology & Operations division and has responsibility for overseeing our Transfer Agencies across EMEA. We are seeking a Director to become part of the GFDS EMEA TA Oversight team, with responsibility for leading two oversight teams and maintaining effective relationships with our transfer agents. The role will require a wide skillset including business, technical , and regulatory knowledge, project management and execution, strategic and consultative thinking. You will be actively engaged in supporting the continued expansion of the TA Oversight teams, in parallel with the evolving regulatory environment. We are helping drive the multi-year transformation of the oversight model and working with our partners to introduce a scalable operational process. You will help with the operating model design, execution and delivery while collaborating and building strategic partnerships with business functions across BlackRock to help TA Services achieve their goals.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
10-15 years of experience in asset management or financial services, Transfer Agency preferred
Familiarity with asset management middle and back-office functions
A strong understanding of retail product offerings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident presentation and communication skills
Experience of working on large, enterprise level projects
Effective stakeholder management skills
Strong collaboration skills and experience of working cross-functionally
Experience of successfully leading projects, influencing others and gaining consensus
Intellectual curiosity and the desire to take initiative and deliver results
Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
