Job Description:

The Director Distribution APEC is accountable for supporting Marriott’s Global Distribution Strategy in APEC, focusing on managing relationships with account partners, transforming wholesale and leisure relationships, supporting B2B distribution strategy, and providing distribution strategy guidance to stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with assigned account portfolio
  • Develop detailed account plans and KPIs
  • Execute centralized commercial and contracts strategy
  • Drive compliance of channel distribution contracts
  • Support Senior Director Distribution APEC in establishing new commercial relationships
  • Function as a strategic senior technical expert
  • Analyze information and solve problems
  • Develop and implement new project plans
  • Generate accurate and timely reports and presentations

Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry
  • 8+ years’ experience in strategic account management, business development, sales & marketing, and/or revenue management
  • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major
  • Experience in managing transformational strategies
  • Strong account management, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage complex account relationships and large-scale projects
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
