Job Description

The Director, Digital & Technology leads a team that strategically manages the technology enablement and information security policies for a US Federal Government contractor. This includes establishing and directing the strategic technology goals, policies and procedures for the organization including application stack, product development, cybersecurity, and hardware provisioning.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways the Digital & Technology team can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals
  • Identifies emerging technology developments and how they can support efficiency and growth in the business
  • Ensures that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing, data processing, and communications needs
  • Establishes information security policies and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs
  • Assists as top-level contact for end users in determining information security requirements and/or solutions
  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change
  • Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them
  • Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs
