Director, Digital Assets and Currencies Policies and Governance

• Lead and manage product policies and governance for digital asset and currency (DACs) initiaitves, working across HSBC
• Work with colleagues across HSBC to define and document policies and governance for DACs strategy, projects and deliverables
• Ensure that HSBC understands relevant DACs industry and policy developments in this segment
• Ensure that any DACs products abide by internal (policy) and external (regulatory) obligations
• Work with the second line of defence (2LoD) to actively shape HSBC's DACs policies and procedures
• Work with colleagues and teams across businesses, technology and digital functions to further our DACs agenda
• Excellent understanding and management of DACs risks
• Strong focus on regulation and government affairs
• Continuously conduct research on digital assets products and new features
• Externally represent HSBC in front of regulators and government officials

• Proven experience in regulated digital assets
• Strong knowledge of and interest in the subject
• Preferably possessing strong knowledge of digital assets, along with how it may apply to a banking context
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive teams towards policy and governance goals
• Excellent awareness of risks and risk management
• Strong and effective relationships with stakeholders which includes senior leadership
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities in ambiguity
